Pablo Fulgueira was born in Mexico in 1979. He studied music for eight years. In 1999 he took a workshop actors direction with professor Ludwik Margules in Foro de Teatro Contemporáneo. He graduated with honors from Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in 2006. Has collaborated in several fiction and documentary productions as an assistant director and as a sound designer. He directed and produced the documentary film “Los pasos del cantador” (The chanter’s path) (CCC. 2006) which closed the Second National Journals of Visual Anthropology and opened the First DocsDF Festival in Mexico city. His thesis fictional short film entitled "Es muy fácil" (It’s very easy) (CCC. 2007) obtained the awards for the best short film, best cinematography and best direction a the Kinoki Short Film Festival, the award for the best direction at the Shortshorts Festival and a special mention granted by the jury in Expresión en Corto 2007. Scholarship holder of FONCA (Program for the Project Encouragement and Cultural Coinvestments, 22nd release) for the production of the documentary series "Los viajes del cantador” (The chanter’s voyages) and the full-length “Venado” (Deer). Participant of the first Visionary Campus Guadalajara 2008.
